Building AI-powered spatial intelligence for real-world environments.

SPECTRUM is a research-driven studio developing AI systems that connect spatial data, cultural archives,
and generative models to create measurable impact in physical spaces.
We are currently building a pre-seed stage, GPU-accelerated AI system
for spatial intelligence and real-world environments.

SPECTRUM is an independent research studio based in Japan, working at the intersection of AI, space, and culture.

We collaborate with designers, researchers, and engineers to explore new forms of spatial intelligence.

WHAT WE DO

We design and prototype AI-based systems that analyze, generate, and adapt spatial and cultural data in real environments.

Product direction (in development)
We are building an AI infrastructure to generate, manage, and deploy original IP—designed to scale across multiple industries, with a future SaaS/platform offering in mind.

Our work focuses on:

  • AI-driven spatial analysis and simulation
  • Generative models for cultural and archival data
  • Interactive systems bridging digital intelligence and physical space

Why It Matters

Existing AI systems are optimized for digital outputs, but fail to fully interact with complex physical and cultural environments.

SPECTRUM addresses this gap by building spatial intelligence that can be tested, measured, and deployed in real spaces.

Technology

Our prototypes leverage GPU-accelerated machine learning pipelines to process large-scale spatial and cultural datasets.

Core technologies include:

  • Large-scale generative models
  • GPU-based training and inference
  • Spatial data processing and simulation
  • Rapid prototyping using cloud infrastructure

Current Stage

We are currently in the pre-seed phase, developing proof-of-concept systems and validating technical feasibility through small-scale deployments.

Current focus:

  • Prototype development
  • Technical validation
  • Early partner collaboration

Future Direction

Our long-term vision is to establish spatial intelligence as a foundational layer for architecture, cultural preservation, and interactive environments.

Potential applications include:

  • Cultural and archival AI systems
  • Intelligent spatial environments
  • Research and public sector collaborations
